Omkara

Identity system for a climbing-culture kombucha brand

, , , ,

Omkara was built as a brand rooted in balance, effort, and recovery. Drawing from climbing culture and the slower rhythm of fermentation, the identity reflects a cycle of tension and release. The goal was to create something that feels grounded and physical, while still carrying a sense of movement and progression.

A system built on contrast and control. Visual elements hold tension between weight and openness, allowing the identity to feel stable without becoming static.

Time as a component. Layering, color, and form develop gradually, mirroring the process behind the product itself—slow, deliberate, and evolving.

Upward movement and progression. Structure and composition reference routes, holds, and vertical space, reinforcing a sense of effort, direction, and ascent.

Construction

The identity is built from a modular system of geometric forms, color fields, and typographic structure. Shapes reference climbing walls and routes, creating a framework that can expand across packaging and applications without losing consistency. Color is used in layered contrasts to suggest depth and progression, while typography remains direct and functional to anchor the system. Each element is designed to scale and adapt, allowing the brand to hold together across different formats and environments.
